Editorial Note

This preview edition is assembled from the surviving N1IR blog archive index, covering 98 listed posts dated from 2013 through 2019. It preserves original article titles, month/year labels, and links, arranged into a readable anthology sequence.

The full article text, diagrams, photographs. The original entries remain linked below.

Foreword

An electronics workshop is a place where theory meets reality: circuits oscillate, components fail, students discover how things work, and the occasional repair becomes an unexpected lesson.

The N1IR archive records years of that hands-on spirit. Across the entries are amateur radio experiments, microcontroller projects, robots, circuit boards, shop equipment, student work, and practical troubleshooting.

This collection follows those projects chronologically. Its eventual full edition can preserve the original technical voice while adding context, updated notes, schematics, and photographs for readers who want to understand not only what was built, but why it mattered.
